JPG and PNG. If your photo is very large, SUBLYN resizes it automatically — you don't have to do anything. For best results, upload a sharp image cropped close to the design.
When the design is small inside a canvas with lots of empty space, the AI may add elements to fill the gap. Crop your image to the design and the stencil stays more faithful.
Normally under a minute. Complex images can take a bit longer.
Yes. Your image and your stencil belong to you, including for commercial tattoo work. Just make sure you have the rights to the original image. The stroke is yours.
Yes, and we say it upfront: every stencil is generated by our own AI model, trained by a tattoo artist with his own photo-and-stencil pairs. It's trained to translate your image into line work, not to invent. Like any AI result, review it before using it. And your images aren't used to train the model without your permission.
Your images are yours and are never shown or shared without your permission. The full privacy policy — what we store, for how long, and how to delete it — will be published before launch.

Troubleshooting
Refresh the page and try again. If it persists, try a different image or crop it closer to the design.
Check that it's a JPG or PNG. Very large photos are resized automatically, but if the upload fails, try exporting a smaller copy.
Sign in with the same method you signed up with (Google or email). SUBLYN doesn't use passwords: if you sign in with email, request a new link and open it in the same browser (previous links stop working). If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and wait a minute before requesting another.
